Bucky Parker’s work is a combination of philosophy and art in wood form. His degree in philosophy did not prepare him for a career in farming. But, both of those aspects of his early life shaped what he would create later in furniture forms. His work has expressiveness and is shaped by the requests of those who commission his artistry to make a personal item that fits their specific use. You can often find him in his studio is in the Marshall High Studios on Blannahassett Island just across the bridge from downtown Marshall. But, if you miss him in his studio, head back to Main Street Marshall and check out some of his creations at Flow.
