Wolf Laurel Country Club
Escape the heat and play your next round of golf on one of the most scenic golf courses in North Carolina. The Wolf Laurel Country Club is an 18-hole championship mountain course in the Appalachian Mountains that provides jaw-dropping views. Being one of the highest courses east of the Mississippi River at nearly 5,000 feet, the Wolf Laurel Country Club is both challenging and beautiful. The moderate temperatures of the Western North Carolina Appalachian Mountains make the course comfortable to play during the spring, summer and fall.
Tee to green elevations can change by more than 300 feet. Golfers will find themselves taking in the beauty of the mountains before teeing off. The tee boxes for holes #6 and #10 are particularly breath-taking, many golfers claim these holes are their favorites for the dramatic views.
Another aspect of the Wolf Laurel Country Club course that golfers appreciate is that there are no parallel fairways and that none of the holes are viewable to the next. Golfers are able to get lost in the natural beauty and play the sport without distractions that can be common on other golf courses.
Wildlife, including deer and turkeys, frequent the golf course and can be an exciting addition to your round. Additionally, some golfers say the very best time of year to play at the Wolf Laurel Country Club is in the fall when the leaves are changing. 1-hour long lessons are also available and golfers can sign up for clinics to strengthen their putting, chipping, irons and more.
