Marshall Gras

It’s ‘Marshall Gras’ time in Marshall, North Carolina! Don your purple, green and gold any way you choose and we will see you downtown! The pre-party will begin at 5pm at Marshall’s Main Street Cafe back patio with gumbo, jambalaya and beverages! The festive parade begins at 6pm and includes Asheville’s Second Line marching band!

This event is kid-friendly and fun for the whole family! Be sure to stick around for the live music and more!

80’s Weekend in Hot Springs, NC

The celebration of “All things 80s”: the music, the hair, the games/toys, the clothes, the food/drink, the movies, the TV/Game shows, even the vocab…we definitely cover it all! What better town to celebrate the 80s than Hot Springs, NC where our unofficial motto is, “Where Mayberry meets the Twilight Zone”! The Iron Horse Station, wait, make that the “Iron Horse Love Boat” will be boarding passengers Friday at 3:00pm and we will cruise the 80s all weekend and promise “something for everyone” so, “Come aboard, we’re expecting you!” A weekend full of everything 80s–TOTALLY AWESOME!

See a Theatre Production

Experience the magic of live theater this winter in Madison County, North Carolina! Get ready for an unforgettable theatrical experience as Mars Hill University Theatre Arts Department presents “A…My Name Is Alice” from February 29th to March 3rd, 2024.

Performances will take place at Owen Theatre located on the Mars Hill University campus, 22 College St, Mars Hill, North Carolina.

Showtimes are as follows: February 29th at 7:30 PM, March 1st at 7:30 PM, March 2nd at 7:30 PM, March 3rd at 2:30 PM.
