Hatley Pointe Mountain Resort

Hatley Pointe Mountain Resort is the nearest ski and snowboarding resort to Asheville. The resort is a short 30-minute drive north of Asheville. Take exit 3 from I-26 and follow the signs.

Family oriented ski area

Hatley Pointe Mountain Resort, is a family oriented ski area with 54 acres of skiable terrain. The Western North Carolina mountains in Madison County provides the perfect backdrop for your winter escape.

Slopes for all skill levels

The popular winter sports destination has slopes for all skill levels, from beginners to experts. There are five beginner trails, nine intermediate and two expert trails. Lifts include a double lift, a quad lift, and two surface lifts. The elevation of the ski area is 4700 ft and has a 700 foot vertical. Night skiing is also offered.

Eating Options

Inside the lodge there is a full-service restaurant and bar. A cafe serving coffee and hot drinks, as well as grab-and-go food is also available. Outside a pizza truck, Peaks & Pies, serves hot and fresh pizza all day!

Hours

The ski resort is open from 9am to 10pm 7 days a week. The slopes will be open from 9am-4pm and then 5:30pm-10pm.
