The restaurant wraps around the Iron Horse Station’s monumental fireplace, and features a friendly dining atmosphere with exceptional regional fare. The food is excellent! The building itself was built in the late 1800s and was fully restored in 2006. In addition to the restaurant, the Iron Horse Station offers fifteen welcoming guest rooms, each with its own private bathroom. Every guest room contains comfortable new furnishings, handcrafted beds, and other amenities including jacuzzi tubs, transom windows, original sky-wells, and mountain views.
The town of Hot Springs, NC is one of only a few towns that the Appalachian Trail runs directly through.
