We wanted to include Lover’s Leap on our “easy” hikes as it’s relatively short (only 1.7 miles). Despite this, there is a sizeable amount of climbing to reach the vista.

This hike takes you along a well-marked trail that winds through the lush forest, passes blooming rhododendrons and ascends to the rocky outcrop known as Lover’s Leap. Once you reach the summit, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic vistas of the river valley below, the town of Hot Springs and the distant peaks, making it a perfect spot for a romantic picnic or simply soaking in the awe-inspiring scenery.
